In the first year since Coulomb Technologies launched the ChargePoint™ Networked Charging Stations for electric vehicles, the Company has achieved significant milestones; it has completed more than 140 worldwide installations and has distributors covering all 50 states in the US. The company has also established European headquarters and developed technology partnerships for solar and Smart Grid integration. Looking to the future of charging infrastructure, Coulomb Technologies will showcase Level 2 (208/240V @ 30A) technology support for fleet and consumer electric vehicles (EVs) with its CT2000 family of charging stations at Plug-in 2009 in Long Beach, Calif. Coulomb Technologies congratulates Electric Transportation Engineering Corporation (eTec), a subsidiary of ECOtality (OTCBB: ETLY), on the award of their U.S. Department of Energy grant of approximately $99.8 million. The grant will allow eTec to undertake the largest deployment of electric vehicles (EVs) and charging infrastructure in U.S. history. eTec will install electric vehicle charging infrastructure and deploy up to 1,000 Nissan battery electric vehicles in five states: Arizona, California, Oregon, Tennessee, and Washington and install approximately 12,500 Level 2 (220V) charging systems and 250 Level 3 (fast-charge) systems.

DMC Green, Inc. announced today that they have opened the first electric vehicle charging station in West Sacramento, CA. The DMC-owned charging station, featuring a Coulomb Technologies ChargePoint™ Networked Charging Station, is the first of 40 DMC charging stations now in contract scheduled for installation throughout California.

McDonald's Corporation, the leading global foodservice retailer, and NovaCharge, a leader in the deployment of EV charging infrastructure, today announced the deployment of electric vehicle charging stations. McDonald's will open the first 'green' restaurant, built with eco-friendly materials and technologies, including ChargePoint™ Networked Charging Stations for electric vehicles from Coulomb Technologies, making it the first of its kind in the United States.
Coulomb Technologies today announced that the County of Sonoma, CA has become the fourth Bay Area location to deploy their ChargePoint™ Networked Charging Stations for electric vehicles. The seven charging stations are now installed throughout the County and will be used for fleet and consumer use. Along with several regional partners, the Sonoma County has applied for grant funding to install up to 200 additional stations in the next two years. Coulomb's charging stations will be officially unveiled to the public in a ribbon cutting ceremony on Thursday, July 2, 2009 at 9:00am at Sonoma County Hall of Justice (600 Administration Drive) in Santa Rosa, CA. The EV stations are at the extreme east end, adjacent to Ventura Ave.

365-Energy today announced that the Katholieke High School of Limburg (KHLim) will deploy ChargePoint™ Networked Charging stations from the world leading infrastructure manufacturer Coulomb Technologies as part of the first European Clean Mobility Center in Belgium. Coulomb's international partner 365-Energy (www.365-energy.com) will provide the charging stations and manage the ChargePoint Network for subscribers. KHLim's CO2 neutral area produces its own green energy through wind, heat and solar. KHLim also has its own energy grid to which the ChargePoint charging stations are connected.
