up EVs off peak, Texans’ propensity to drive, and the potential to use EVs to increase reliability at both the individual consumer and grid level, the conditions seem ripe for load growth due to EV charging roll out. This panel will explore the potential for EV growth in ERCOT:

• How can new communications and control technologies realize the potential for new energy market products and services?
• Could innovative tariff and incentive structures tap the value of smart vehicle charging?
• When will range anxiety flip - i.e. EVs longer single-charge-range than IC single-fill-up range for the average car and what will that do for Texas adoption?
• How will REPs manage the risk of load growth on the distribution level?
• Could Tesla’s proposal to enter the Texas market as an REP drive the deployment of EV charging networks?
