How do I create a ChargePoint account?

Here's how to sign up for a free ChargePoint account:

1. To sign up for a free ChargePoint account, get the ChargePoint app, or click here.
2. Fill in the Create account screen with your basic information, accept the Privacy Policy and Terms of Service and hit Next to continue.
3. Fill out the Add payment screen (or skip it).
   
   Tip: When you create your free account, you can provide payment info (credit card, Apple Pay, Google Pay or PayPal) so you’ll be ready to charge wherever you go.
4. You can start a charge anytime from the station details in the ChargePoint app. Request a ChargePoint card during sign-up if you’d like one as a backup.
5. Tell us what car you drive in the EV information section. This helps us estimate how long it will take to charge your car and allow you to filter by stations that work for your EV.
6. Choose how you want to get updates about charging in the Notifications section.
7. That’s it! Now you can find places to charge wherever you go.
