Maryland Energy Administration EVSE Rebate Program for Residential Customers

The Maryland Energy Administration released funding for their FY25 EV Supply Equipment Rebate Program, which offers rebates to Marylanders to expand the state's electric vehicle charging network. Total funding available through the program is $1.5M. Residential rebates cover up to 50% up to $700 for cost of an EV charger and installation costs for one charger per home. Homeowners, renters, and multifamily residents that purchase an EVSE for their personal use are eligible to submit a residential application. Only one rebate per individual resident. Taxes, shipping costs, and credit card payment convenience fees are ineligible expenses. Funding is Rebates will be issued on a first-come, first-served basis as funds are available to complete and eligible applications. All funding must be expended by April 1, 2025.
