The US Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) is looking to strategically deploy publicly accessible EV charging infrastructure along designated alternative fuel corridors and public roads/facilities. Approximately $800 million is available for Round 2 (CFI FY24/FY25) for states or political subdivisions, metro planning organizations, local governments, special purpose districts or public authorities with transportation functions, tribal entities, and U.S. territories. The maximum infrastructure funding available covers up to 80% of the project costs.
