  • Alameda Municipal Power AMP is offering a rebate of up to $1,000 for the purchase of an all-electric used EV. For plug-in hybrid EVs (PHEVs), AMP offers rebates up to $500. Business customers who purchase new electric forklifts (class-1 or class-2) are also eligible for a rebate up to $2,000.
  • The Antelope Valley Air Quality Management District’s (AVAQMD) AFV Program offers rebates of up to $1,000 to residents toward the purchase or lease of a new AFV.
  • ZEVs are eligible for Clean Air Vehicle decals to access HOV lanes. The decals are subject to availability.
  • The Clean Vehicle Rebate Project (CVRP) offers $2,500 for the purchase or lease of new zero emission vehicles and $1,500 for plug-in hybrids. Zero-emission motorcycles may receive up to $900. Rebate eligibility is subject to income caps. Consumers with household incomes less than or equal to 300 percent of the federal poverty level are eligible for an increased rebate amount. 
  • The Eastern Kern Air Pollution Control District’s 2020 DMV Grant Voucher Program offers up to $4,000 in the form of a voucher for the purchase of a new ZEV, PZEV, or SULEV, eligible lower-emitting vehicle. Applications are processed first-come first-served and vouchers issued accordingly until funds are exhausted.
  • The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District (AQMD) is accepting applications for the Drive Clean! program which provides a $599 incentive to County residents for the purchase or lease of an Air Resources Board (ARB) Clean Vehicle Rebate Program eligible vehicle. 
  • Farmers Insurance provides a discount of up to 10% on all major insurance coverage for HEV and AFV owners. 
  • The Hybrid and Zero Emission Truck and Bus Voucher Incentive Project (HVIP) Funding for Medium- and Heavy-Duty Zero Emission Vehicles will launch June 8, 2021. Rebates from $45,000 - $150,000 depending on weight class; plus an additional 10% for projects in disadvantaged communities, 15% for public transit agencies, or 65% for public schools are eligible on a first-come first-served basis.
  • The Monterey Bay Air Resources District (MBARD) is offering a rebate for EVs for residents of Monterey, San Benito, and Santa Cruz Counties that purchased an Electric vehicle. Starting July 1, 2021 you can receive a $1,500 rebate for new a EV, $1000 for a used EV, $750 for new PHEVs, $500 for a used PHEV, and $300 for new electric motorcycles. This program is first-come, first-served and lasts until program funds run out.
  • The Northern Sonoma County Air Pollution Control District (NSCAPCD) offers a rebate program for the purchase or lease of an eligible clean vehicle. Rebates include $3,000 for battery electric and $2,000 for plug-in hybrid. The District territory includes the northern and coastal regions of Sonoma County, including Healdsburg, Cloverdale, and Guerneville. 
  • The Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) Clean Fuels Rebate program offers an $800 rebate for owning or leasing an eligible plug-in electric vehicle. This offering is only available to PG&E customers with an active residential electricity account.
  • Peninsula Clean Energy has increased their used EV rebate! From now until September 30, 2022, income-qualifying residents of San Mateo County and the City of Los Banos can now receive up to $6,000 for the purchase of a qualifying used EV. All residents, regardless of income, remain eligible for a rebate of up to $1,000. Residents must apply prior to purchase to be eligible for the rebate. 
  • Redding Electric Utility (REU) is offering a $1,000 account credit for the purchase or lease of a new qualified electric vehicle (up to 2). See the REU Residential EV Rebate Application for complete list of terms and conditions. REU is also offering $1,000 for the purchase or lease of a new qualified electric vehicle (up to 10). 
  • The Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) Drive Electric Incentive offers SMUD residential customers a $599 rebate for the purchase or lease of a new PEV. Applications must be postmarked within 180 days of the date of purchase or lease of PEV, additional Terms and Conditions apply.
  • San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) is offering a $200 Electric Vehicle Climate Credit for driving a clean vehicle. SDG&E customers can apply for the bill credit each year that you drive or lease the clean vehicle. 
  • San Diego Gas & Electric (SDG&E) is offering a $1,000 point-of-sale rebate specifically for teachers and first responders that work and reside in SDG&E territory. The rebate is being offered on a first-come, first-served basis and is good while limited funds are available.
  • The San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District Drive Clean Rebate offers a rebate to local residents and businesses for purchasing EVs. The rebate is up to $3,000 for zero emission vehicles and up to $2,000 for plug-in hybrids. The local rebate can also be combined with state and federal rebates.

  • The Southern California Edison (SCE) Clean Fuels Rewards program offers a $1000 rebate for driving a new, used, or leased electric vehicle (battery electric or plug-in hybrid). This offering is only available to SCE customers with an active residential electricity account. If you have multiple eligible EVs in your household, you may receive a rebate for each vehicle if you otherwise qualify.
