Ventura County Air Pollution Control District (VCAPCD) is awarding $1.5 million in grants for the installation and operation of electric vehicle chargers along the Highway 126 corridor, including the heavily-trafficked areas of Fillmore, Santa Paula, and Piru. Level 2 and DCFC chargers are eligible for reimbursement and must be accessible to the public or employees for the full term of the grant (3-8 years). Funding amounts range from 85%-100% of eligible costs, depending on the type of project. Applications are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis until funding has been allocated.
