Now is the time: Introducing a faster paradigm for grid energization approvals to accelerate electric mobility

At ChargePoint, our mission is to move all people and goods on electricity. To make that possible, we work with stakeholders across the e-mobility industry to enable access to convenient charging. The e-mobility market has reached a stage where EV charging sites are larger, higher-powered and in more places than ever before, and utilities must scale up their practices to support rapid energization of charging locations. In this paper, we identify the obstacles to utility energization of EV charging at scale, and propose ways to address these and build out charging faster.
