The El Dorado County Air Quality Management District, along with State and Federal agencies, provides incentives and grants to help improve the air quality of El Dorado County. Approximately $50,000 is available for "charging station" projects in this round of proposals at up to $5,000 per charger (i.e., per individual EV connection). Matching funds must be provided in the form of grantee-provided electricity, designation of parking spaces, and availability to the public.
