Communities in Charge has $30 million available in funding for Level 2 charging stations in four (4) regions across California. At least 50% of funding will be allocated for infrastructure located in Disadvantaged and Low-Income Communities, as well as federally recognized Tribal Nation communities. Public and private locations are eligible for funding, with a base incentive of up to $6,500 or 100% of eligible costs per charging port. Additional funding is available for multi-family housing or Tribal community sites. Applications will be accepted until January 31, 2025.
