How to Get Charging at Home

If your EV charging package includes a home charger, you’ll go through a few simple steps to request and install home charging. Don’t worry, it’s super simple and you’ll enjoy the convenience of charging at home in no time.

Prepare Your Station

Request Home Charging

Look for a welcome email from your provider. Use the link in this email to create your account and submit a request for home charging. Your provider will need to approve this request.

Complete a Home Survey

Within five days of your home charging request being approved, a certified installer will contact you to discuss installing your home charger. If your home is ready for EV charging based on your electrical supply and where you want to put the charger, you’ll set an installation date. If your home needs electrical work to be ready for charging, you’ll coordinate with the installer and your provider.

Be There for Installation

On the installation date, your installer will bring the charger to your home, then install and activate it. You’ll just need to be there. Make sure the area around your electrical panel is clear and the chosen installation location is easy for the installer to access.

Set Up Reimbursement

After your station is installed, follow these simple steps to set up automatic home charging energy reimbursement.
