ChargePoint Hires Former ClipperCreek President, Dave Packard

Campbell, Calif. - ChargePoint today announced that ClipperCreek co-founder and former President Dave Packard has been hired to run the company’s utilities business development.

In 2006, Packard founded ClipperCreek Inc., a provider of EV infrastructure and has since served as the company’s president.

“Dave is a seasoned leader in the EV industry with over 19 years of experience and we are lucky to have him join the ChargePoint team,” said Pasquale Romano, ChargePoint’s CEO. “He will play an instrumental role in our continued success by growing and developing relationships with leading utilities.”

Packard joined the EV market in the early 1990s as VP of Sales at EPTI, a start-up, rapid battery charging company. He began his career in engineering with Lockheed Missiles and Space Company in Sunnyvale, CA.

Packard holds a Masters Degree in Civil Engineering and a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts.
