ChargePoint and the Largest Interactive Microgrid at Verge Interconnect 2015

Microgrid to demonstrate future of distributed energy generation and smart systems

Los Angeles, Calif. – On Monday, ChargePoint will be joined by a diverse group of sustainability, facilities, and technology executives, civic leaders and entrepreneurs at the Verge 2015 Interconnect conference in San Jose. As part of their role at the conference, ChargePoint will be participating in the world’s largest interactive and temporary Microgrid – a living, vivid demonstration of the future of distributed energy generation, smart systems and resilience.

As the world leader in electric vehicle charging, ChargePoint will provide the charging stations at the EV Test Drive Station located in the Interconnect Expo. The stations will be refueling EVs available for test drives, including a variety of electric cars, bikes and skateboards.

In addition, ChargePoint CEO Pat Romano will be participating in City Summit, an invitation-only event bringing thought leaders together for a day-long collaborative session focused on how cities and companies are working together to implement innovative technologies that support resilience and sustainability.
